A Columbus-based restaurant group, CLB Restaurants currently employs 350+ employees, 30 full-time managers, and 7 Corporate Officers. Craig Barnum, who began his restaurant career under the tutelage of his uncle and President and CEO of Max and Erma’s, Todd Barnum, and Cameron Mitchell and Richard Stopper, is the President of CLB Restaurants, while Rob Hoersdig serves as the Director of Operations.
CLB Restaurants was established in January 2011 by Craig Barnum, and operates Matt the Miller’s Tavern in Central Ohio with locations in Dublin, Grandview, and on Gemini Place off of Polaris Parkway, and in Carmel, IN; and Tucci’s in Historic Dublin.
Prior to establishing CLB Restaurants, Barnum owned Oscar’s in Dublin until 2009 and developed Brazenhead Irish Pub in Dublin and Grandview, as well as Tucci’s. He opened the first Matt the Miller’s Tavern in Dublin in 2008 eventually moved Tucci’s and Matt the Miller’s Tavern under the CLB Restaurants umbrella. On June 1, 2013, CLB Restaurants consolidated the existing three Matt the Miller’s entities into a single holding company in order to put the company in a position for growth.
CLB Restaurants continues to seek additional sites for Matt the Miller’s Tavern in Central Ohio and the Indianapolis region, as well as in Cincinnati, Louisville, Cleveland and other mid-western cities. A young company, CLB Restaurants, is passionate about its’ constant pursuit of ways to improve the business – better service, better food, a better experience for guests.
Through CLB Restaurants, Barnum seeks to put into practice the philosophies that have guided his career. First and foremost, he understands that people like to be entertained and that dining out should be an experience to be enjoyed – including a great atmosphere, superior service and a chef-driven menu of delicious food. As such he has committed CLB Restaurants to developing restaurants with an eye towards the details – unique light fixtures, real stone, custom beer towers, and one-of-a-kind artwork – as well as dedicated staff with both superior skills and great personalities.
